Day 44 of Insanity! My rambled thoughts .....

So Im back in it on Day 44 of Insanity and HONESTLY it feels REALLY GOOD!!!!! Ive dropped the ball on staying fit after i came back from vacation from Belize back in June. I kicked my self in the butt EVERYday since 44 days ago telling myself why i couldnt jump back in the game of health & fitness! I had some good excuses too!!! lol I wanted to enjoy my vacation with my wife the best we could, beside my knees hurting, Shaun t mentioned take a month off if your knees hurt!! I did do 2 rounds back to back!! I started a 3rd but the closer i got to the vacation time, it's like my body shut off! LOL... We worked hard for it and we needed time to relax! Second, it was our moment to bring our son home to Los Angeles to live with us for good! He's 6 years old and he was waiting for this moment for over 100 years he says!!! lol. When we got back boooyyy i made more excuses to why i coudnt do Insanity, find time, etc ... Then, I believed that my family and new role around the house would take up EVERY singe mintue of me!! Although i came to believe that, 44 days ago i realize that was wrong for me to think and that i control all that i do in my day!! THERE WAS NO EXCUSES!!!!! I remember how hard i really wanted to get in a workout but just made excuses! I remember getting p90x and saying ill try something new! I remember buying Turbofire, hoping that would spark a whole new interest!!! But I still kept giving myself reason not too!!! I just got in what i could, Time went by, off and on im mixing through different programs trying to get my body in motion! What i did realize is that like most, I started to accept what and how things became in my environment!! I told myself like everyone else i will do it, i'll get to it, but did i?? Days and weeks went by as it turned into months!! We know what we want deep inside, but do we really take control and create actions?? and when we do begin the actions, do we follow it through to the end? or do we settle back in to our old way of acceptance and say we tried and it'd didnt work out! Did it not work out becuase we chose that?? For me I blame myself and no one around me!! I cant, it isnt fare to do so becuase at the end of each day only you know how you feel deep inside twoards what you accomplished that day!! We feel good when we feel accomplished!! And Insanity was that for me!!! Losing 25 pounds made me feel good!!! Confident, ready to take on more and do more!!!

So 44 days ago i decided to CONSISTENTLY take control of my fitness again!! NO EXCUSES, My day is scheduled around my workout and not just to say i will get it in!!! My wife and son are in it now who are inspiring others!!Thats the reward! Helping others see that it's possible for them too! Im proud of them because they are taking control of there health and fitness too!! 10 to 20 mins a day will get you on the path to a healthier and fulfilling life!! What are we really waiting for? if you want it, own it!!!

STRUGGLING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ever since i started Round 3 of Insanity, i found my self REAAALLLYYY struggling!! Im a morning person when it comes to working out!! It is said that your body when working out in the morning use your stored fat as fuel!!! I noticed my knees were starting to hurt, my legs were stiff, working out became tough! I realize that my body was getting tired and needed a change! But i didnt want to stop Insanity!!! As i struggled with week one, i decided that week one i would change it up!!! This round im adding in the Upper Body weight training DVD every other day! What i did fine that worked was instead of doing it in the morning, my body responded and push like it use to doing it at night!!! It WOWED me! I was really pushing and not feeling uncomfortable like week one of this round!!! Tonight i did PURE CARDIO!!! I NEEDED THIS!!! IT REALLY REENERGIZED MY BELIEF AND SPIRT FOR INSANITY!!!!! I PUSHED through this like it was my FORST round! I FELT GOOD AND FEEL IN LOVE WITH INSANITY ALLLL OVER AGAIN!! i reaaallyyyyy needed this! I was thinking maybe Insanity i had to put on pause! BUT I DONT!!! If your body is starting to feel like it can not take it, SWITCH IT UP!!!! SWITCH UP TIMES AND SOME WORKOUTS!! IT WILL HELP YOU RELIVE YOUR DAY 1!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!! Remember this is a LIFESTYLE!!!! your body will need breaks and something NEW! LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!!!!! IT WILL GET THE RESULTS YOU WANT!!!!

Day 3 - My Shakeology Cleanse log

Day 3 of my Shakeology Cleanse

8:00am Green tea
10:00am Shakeology, ice, water and 3/4 banana, the best one is the morning one! lol
10:20am Finished my Shakeology!!!
10:42am i hear my stomach turning and growling! LOL Im not hungry tho!! hmmmmmmm
Today was hard because of family time, i brought my Shakeology bag to make sure im consistant! LOL
12:43pm i was at the mall, i was hungrey so i needed a snack, luckly i packed some Almonds so i replaced that with the fruit! LOL
3:24pm im at the parents house so i blended up my lunch Shakeology with ice and water! I even shared it with mom and dad and they actually liked it!! Dad was recommending other things i could add to it to give it a cool mix!!
5:45pm DINNER TIME!!!!! ill have my last Shakeology later today
8:30pm My last Shakeology of the night! I mad it sooo think! LOL 9:00pm FINISHED!!!!!! FEEL GREAT!!!!!!

I learned ALOT from this Shakeology Cleanse! Day 2 for me was the right way to attach it all!!! My knees do not hurt and i feel ready and excited for day 1, round 3 of Insanity tomorrow!!!! LETS GET IT ALL!!!!

Day 2 - My Shakeology Cleanse log

Day 2 of my Shakeology Cleanse

8:30am getting the green tea ready!! Today i need to to spread out the times to do this a little so i dont feel REALLY hungry!!! BIG learning for me yesterday!!

9:33am just finished mixing up my morning Shakeology with ALOT of ice and a Banana! ITS THICK!!! So this should fill me up!!! Im eating it with a spoon! LOL

10:00am WOW, it took me awhile to Finnish it! LOL FEEL FULL AND GREAT!!!!!!!! will pace myself today!!!
10:10am feeling COOLLLDDDD!!!! its cold here in my office and having a COLD Shakeology = COLD! lol

12:48pm FEELING GOOD!!!!!! time for my first snack!! I feel like i can do this!! LOL Fist snack is a fruit!!! A few strawberries!!! BAM!! lol Hopefully it will only me for my 2nd Shakeology of the day!!

2:37pm LUNCH Shakeology with ice and water, i will prepare the green tea as soon as im done
3:00pm 1 cup hot water done, preparing the green tea
3:49pm Feeling Hungry, TIME TO MODIFY!!! ALMONDS!!!!!!!!

4:58pm This is were i start to feel week and light headed!! Sleepy even! LOL I will eat a few more Almonds and drink PLENTY of water!! lol

7:08pm I make my Shakeology THICK!!! Full of ICE!!!! YUM!!! FEELING GREAT RIGHT NOW!! I notice i lost some more weight! LOL

8:49pm DINNER TIME!!!!!! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MEAL ALLLLL DAY!!!!!!!


10:16pm So day 2 COMPLETED!!!! I have a little headache but feel GOOD!!!! 1 more day to go!!!! Then i'll weigh in!!! BAM!!! GET IT!!!!

One thing i do want to mention that the past to day i was gassy! LOL, I've heard Shakeology can do that to you! It's part of the process cleaning you out! *wink*

Day 1 - My Shakeology Cleanse log

With my last 3 days of Insanity! I decided to do the Shakeology Cleasne!
1. my body needs the rest, Knees starting to hurt
2. need the "jump start" my body for Round 3 starting May 31st! THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO DO THAT!!!

IM EXCITED AND DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THIS EXPERIENCE!! lol Im not even sure my body is ready for this .....
This morning i woke up HUNGRY!! I didnt have any green tea so i quickly went to the store to buy some!

My first drink of the day was that (8:00am) and after i made a Shakeology (8:40am) with 3/4 slice of a banana and lots of water and ice!!
Surprisingly i feel full!!

its about 10:00am and im feeling hungry, i know water will be VERY important during this experience so i have ALOT ready in a 74oz bottle! you need at least 2-4 liters a day!!! We will see!! *cheese*

11:25am SNACK TIME
1 fruit, so im doing strawberries and a small piece of banana! I feel hungry but im drinking ALOT of water to help with the hunger feeling!

its 12:08pm and im thinking to myself, what time is LUNCH TIME!!!! Next for lunch is another Shakology but trying to pace this out! LOL

12:46 pm - still working on my water, feeling hungry but will make my 2nd Shaekology around 1:30ish! lol

1:28pm - I made my second Shakeology for the day! This need to be followed by 1 cup of tea, This time with the Shakeology i manage to make it ticher than this morning! I realize this will need to hold me up til dinner so i put ALOT more of the crushed Ice AND YESSSS it's THICK!!! I LOVE IT!! ITS LIKE CHOCOLATE ICEE!!!! lol Im eatting it with a spoon to trick my brain im eatting! HAHAHAHAHA

2:00pm boiling the water for my green tea!
2:15pm - still sipping down this hot green tea! I actually feel good right now!

4:00pm feeling a little hungry but drink water to help with the hunger!
4:15pm feeling light headed! REMEMBER YOU CAN MODIFY!!!! you can modify by eating 5-10 almonds or 1/2 banana! ALMONDS IT ISSS!!!


its 5:30pm so maybe i should have taken another shakeology ... ill make one now, i sure am HUNGRY!! lol
5:35pm Chocolate Slushy Shakeology completed!!!
6:00pm Finished the Shakeology and FEEL GREAT!!!!!!! Tomorrow i need to schedule the day better!

8:00pm im okay, feeling a little hungry but nt much! Drinking my water! IT REALLY HELPS!!!
8:30p My wife made the green salad and chicken breast! OMG it was DELICIOUS!!!! FEEL GREAT!!!!
DAY 1 COMPLETED!!!!!!!!!

Now based on my learnings today, tomorrow will be even BETTER!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I repeat this for the next 3 days!!!
