Shaun A's Top 10 Tips when starting Insanity!


I've been getting the question, "Any suggestions or tips for a person just starting Insanity?"

In my opinion, this is what I've learned through this journey so far! Shaun Ayala's Top 10 Tips when starting Insanity!


1. I would get a free coach from Beachbody!! They will guide and help you!!! There is no GREATER feeling then connecting with someone who have or is going through what you will be going through!

2. REMEMBER THE REASON (your "why") YOU ARE DOING THIS AND MAKE IT YOUR REASON TO PUSH PLAY EVERYDAY!!! Identify your long term goals and your short term goasl! Focus on short term goals because they will get you to your ULTIMATE END goal!

3. WATER!!!! THIS IS IMPORTANT doing Insanity! At least 64oz per day!! if you are not use to this amount, work your way up to it!! DO THIS DAILY!

4. Commit to a specific time EVERYDAY!!!! if it's 5:30am, commit EVERYDAY!!! Thats what i did!!!

6. SLEEP!!!!! AT LEAST 7 to 7.5 HOURS!!!!!! Intense workout means your body neeeddss the rest!!!

7. FOOD IS IMPORTANT!!!! YOU KNOW WHATS RIGHT FROM WRONG!!!! MAKE RIGHT CHOICES!!! I personally added Shakeology to my diet and its a great health treat when craving the sweets!!!!

8. I have learned the importance of "consistency" and that with "time" things are possible. I've realized that we live in a world where we would rather have instant gratification, BUT PLEASE dont fall into that misconception and just keep pushing forward and pushing play!!!!

9. Let every one around you know your goals! THEY WILL BE YOUR BIGGEST SUPPORTERS!!!! and if they dont you know who not to be around! LOL

10. Have fun! - Keep Pushing Play AND Pushing Hard EVERY DAY!!
